“Fitness and running have always been a part of my life. In 2007 I started including long distance running into my training. Even though I was able to participate in 10 marathons and numerous half marathons, I was consistently plagued with aches, pains and nagging injuries. I decided to rediscover yoga as a way of relieving my pain so I could once again enjoy running the way I had previously. Thankfully, a mutual friend introduced me to Jessica. Jessica taught me how to engage in a yoga practice that would not exacerbate my injuries but provide the healing that I needed. Not only did I fine tune my yoga practice with Jessica, her private classes assisted both my Husband and I learn techniques for proper mobility training designed for injury prevention. Three times in the last few years I have trained for a 50K race only to have to cancel due to injury. Because of Jessica’s yoga instruction and private classes, I was able to complete a very challenging 50K trail race at 45 years old.”
